Special School Project!!!

The World Autism Organisation will create an international forum for Schools with Children within the Autism Spectre, including Aspergers Syndrome.
The first meeting will take place in Herning, Denmark.
Participants from South Africa, Kuwait, Spain, Ireland, England, USA, Mexico and Denmark have already agreed to participate!!!

Contents:

• Co-operation between Schools for Children with special needs
• Sharing information concerning education of Children in special Schools
• Visiting Schools in different Countries on an annual basis
• Developing an internet website for sharing ideas for education and solving problems
• Socializing between teachers and leaders of special Schools
• Establishing network between Parents from participating Countries within the WAO

The Soenderager School in Denmark will be the first to host the first meeting 10 – 13 June 2010 in Herning, Denmark.

         10 June 2010: Arriving, Housing, Welcome
         11 June 2010: Welcome at Mayors´ office in Herning
                       Visiting the Soenderager Special School (Aspergers)
                                          Visiting the Aamose Special School (Autism)
                                          Sight seeing
                        Dinner
         12 June 2010: Meeting concerning future program.
                       Each Country presents their own School (Power Point)
                       Dinner Party for all. Parents and professionals.
         13 June 2010: Departure

Meals, housing and transport in Denmark will be sponsored for two persons from each Country.
