The World Autism Organisation (WAO), formally announced on November 21, 1998 in Luxembourg, has as its main objective to improve the quality of life for people with autism and their families in all parts of the world.

This may cover several aspects:

  • Shares of information and awareness of national public institutions in addition to international organizations such as UNESCO, WHO, United Nations, etc..
  • Awareness of parents and autistic persons to participate in associations representing their countries or the formation of the same, if not yet exist.
  • Awareness of professionals in the fields of health and education in relation to the specific needs of individuals with autism. To promote interest in working with people with autism.
  • Shares of initial and continuing vocational education and training in countries that need it urgently.
  • Sharing information on an enlarged over the world to enrich our knowledge through each other's experiences.

From our work together and reach our strength of this force will reach a better quality of life for people with autism and their families.
